8990 Holdings Inc., 8990 Housing Development Corporation, together with their respective, subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies which shall be collectively known as “8990”, collect, process, and store personal data about you when you avail of their products and services, participate in their events, apply for a job, or enter into contract with them.

8990 is committed to protect the privacy rights of individuals on personal data pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

To ensure that your rights as a Data Subject under Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 are secured, 8990 has implemented reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical and technical measures intended to protect your personal information and/or sensitive personal information against any unauthorized, accidental and/or unlawful processing under the following terms and conditions:

INFORMATION COLLECTED

We collect Personal Information and/or Sensitive Personal Information from you when you manually or electronically submit your information.  Generally, this may include your full name, address, email address, contact details and other information as may be necessary and relevant to our dealings with you.

PURPOSE

Any and all processing of personal information by 8990 shall be made for a legal purpose, to perform our obligations relating to the personalized services you availed, and/or pursuant to any legal obligation under applicable laws taking into consideration and implementing appropriate security measures to ensure the confidentiality and/or integrity of the personal information involved.

PROTECTION MEASURES

We safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal information by maintaining a combination of organizational, physical, and technical security measures based on generally accepted data privacy and information security standards. Storage shall be within a period as provided under the contract, and as may be authorized by law.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

8990 may share personal data between and among the entities comprising the same or to another constituting the 8990 Group of Companies, where applicable, to enhance the personalized services provided to you.  This includes sharing with real estate agents, vendors, marketing partners, accredited banks and institutions, and other service providers necessary for tasks conducted on behalf of 8990.

A data sharing agreement will govern the sharing of data among 8990 and its partners mentioned above. Disclosure may occur to comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, governmental requests, prevent harm or financial loss, or address suspected illegal activity.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

8990 reserves its right to update or revise this privacy notice, or any part hereof, from time to time, to implement technological advances and provide enhanced services.
